Could you benefit from being under a service agreement?
A service agreement covers all service calls, spare parts, consumables, firmware upgrades, labour etc.
The cost of a service agreement is determined on replaceable parts and consumables at nominated yields from the manufacturer.
The cost of parts and consumables are divided out into a cost per page, effectively a service agreement works out to be the cheapest way of maintaining a photocopier on the basis if any further service calls are required over and above the standard nominated call they are still covered in the service agreement.
